About the Author
Mark and Mary Willenbrink are the authors of North Light's Drawing for the Absolute Beginner (2006), Watercolor for the Absolute Beginner (2009), Oil Painting for the Absolute Beginner (2010) and Drawing Portraits for the Absolute Beginner (2012). Great Book

One of my very favorite drawing books. I bought Drawing for the Absolute Beginner and it was such an amazing book, that I then purchased this oen and it's equally as good. I have no art background, never learned to draw as a kid, but with this book and the other one, I am drawing and I'm drawing things I am proud to show!! If you buy no other books, I'd say Drawing Nature for the Absolutel Beginner and Drawing for the Absolute Beginner would be all you'd ever need to get started.
